Microsoft and Alphabet are scheduled to release quarterly results Wednesday, October 28. Their announcements make the middle of this week a major checkpoint for readers following cloud computing, software and artificial intelligence.
Microsoft says its fiscal 2027 first-quarter results will be released after the market closes, followed by a 2:30 p.m. Pacific conference call. Alphabet has scheduled its third-quarter call for 1:30 p.m. Pacific and says its release will be available beforehand.
The reports have not yet been released. Any assessment of revenue, profit or management guidance must wait for the filings and calls. For New York’s business community, those disclosures will offer new information about two large technology suppliers and employers.
